The Solid Rock Parade Home in Cedar Heights is open daily 10-6 through Sunday August 23rd. This is a new custom home nestled in a private neighborhood at 3435 Black Rock Rd.
Eric Fetsch Artwork is featured throughout the home with over 25 new pieces shown. I am also having a drawing at the home to win a painting “Poppies 7”.
Next Tuesday August 11th at the Parade Home at 4:30pm, Eric Fetsch is conducting a seminar for the Home Builders Association about “Enjoying Original Art in Your Home”. We will tour the home and discuss size, subject, color, trends in artwork and interior design. Hope you can make it!
I was fortunate to be selected to have a piece of artwork entered in the International Watermedia Show held in June at Library 21C. The Pikes Peak Watercolor Society organizes this show every other year and had 83 pieces shown with 190 entries worldwide. All pieces in the show were selected by our Juror, Ted Nuttall who also provided Workshop sessions.
And for the first time…I was given an Award. Garden Ramble 2, a watercolor on canvas, was given a Silver Certificate Ribbon.
Thank you to the Pikes Peak Watercolor Society for another great event!
Eric Fetsch was the featured artist for Valentines Day at Consign and Design. Free Greeting Cards with every purchase, roses, chocolate and champagne made a fun day for all.
Customers streamed in all day and enjoyed watching as Greeting Cards were created on the spot. I had a great time meeting people and saying hello to old friends too.
This Watercolor on Canvas painting plus many more are featured at Consign and Design right now at 975 Garden of the Gods Rd. The title of this piece is Garden Ramble 2, $670 is 20 x 20 x 1.5″.
“Along the Colorado River”
These Small Paintings are 6″ x 6″ and give us a chance to experiment with really strong shapes and vivid color. The Workshop will feature some of the basics of planning a painting and develop a strong composition before we begin to paint. A little patience and planning produces big results…no matter how small the piece.
These are examples of the Workshop Wonders that were produced by attendees at our Autumn Leaves Workshop.
We prepared the items for the November 7th First Friday Event at the Boulder Street Gallery.
Each of the pieces was framed and presented alongside the works from 26 other artists of the Pikes Peak Watercolor Society. The response was favorable and we continue to get positive comments from the Art Society members. A big Thank You to all that participated, it was challenging and fun!

Our regular workshop schedules will continue too, this will give you the opportunity to learn and grow at your own pace.
